“There is a difference between being a rapper and being an artist”.

This is a belief strongly held by St. Catharines emcee, Femapco, who fills all the qualities of being an artist ...

FROM THE EDITOR

June was a crazy month. School ended, work was insane, I got some lead contacts who are going to help me get Soundline published, I'm working on getting a new place, all the while, there was live music happening all across the country.

Now that the month has ended, I feel like I can breathe again. I'm not sure how much easier July is going to be, or how quickly it is going to pass, but I sincerely hope that all of you are back again to read the next issue in August.

Issue 4 marks a first for Soundline. While we have ventured into the world of hip hop before for reviews, it has never been a feature. This month features our first ever Hip Hop artist on the cover! Congratulations to Femapco, on everything that he has accomplished in 2009!

I had a lot of fun making this issue up for you. We've started playing with some new ideas, posting pictures with the articles as we get closer to going into print. I am always open to comments and suggestions, so if you ever have anything to say, just click on the "contact" tab and drop us a line!

Be sure to register in the message forum and welcome our newest writers to the team! Without them, Soundline would not exist!

Keep it real!
