Dean Phelps style reminds one a little of Harry Belafonte’s style a unique style of music that incorporates a lot of fun and catchy songs.
“Feeling groovy” is certainly music to my ears. It is both Fun and fast though too short, just when you are getting into it, the music ends. The song “I found Jesus” is a funny and interesting expression of the intent of what the Christian faith is about, explained in such a straightforward way in that one song.
Dean Phelps writes and composes gospel music in such a way that anyone can listen and enjoy it without bashing the listener on the head with suffocating doctrine, it is clean and fun music for any listener just tells it as it is with little or no fuss.
