OLD BAND, NEW LINEUP, SAME GREAT SHOW
Grafitti Park
February 21st, 2004 - On The Curve, Mississauga

It was about 10:30pm when me and a couple friends arrived at the fairly new but popular nightspot called On The Curve,
located in the 'Heart of Mississauga'.
Bouncers at the door watched as we walked passed them to the hotess at the guestlist stand. We were given the okay
and headed toward the music.
The band was already on stage, probably half way through their first set. They performed songs from Shakira to Shaggy
to Silk to Shania Twain to Santana ... you name it, and they could more than likely do it. I gotta say, I was impressed, and
so were my friends. We were sitting down havin a drink and they didn't even realize that it was the band playing, they
thought it was a dj playin a cd. Each set was about 45 minutes long or so, and they did 3 sets that night, each one being
different.
It was much more of an older crowd than I expected however. I figured it was gonna be a place with younger people,
early 20's or so, but I was quite surprised to find that we were probably the youngest ones there being 20 and 22. Still
in all, it was a great performance and I would definately go see them again.
Well, with all that being said, Graffiti Park is definately a band worth checking out. They're heading back to the middle
east at the end of march for 6 months, so make sure u keep checking back either here, or at their website to find out
when they're back in town and performing next, cuz for sure i'll be there!
