They are the independent songwriters responsible for such songs as "The Disguise" and "Cajun Angel". They have over 190 original songs in the Rock/Blues/Pop genre under their belt and possibly many more in the future. They have won awards such as Radio artist of the year from Viking Radio.

Who is this multi-talented group?

Ratcliff Bailey.

Ratcliff Bailey is manned by the talented Tim Ratcliff and Ken Bailey. These guys claim they only have two rules to follow: “We write what we feel, and we try to do it in a quality way.” They operate out of a 24 track studio in Ironton, Ohio. The guys say they get their inspiration for their songs through life experiences. This made me curious about what I would find and I was eager to continue.

I began sampling the songs starting with "Big Enough". One of the things I really enjoyed about this song was the use of piano and its catchy beat that made us shake our head and tap our feet. This song is an accurate example of music you would find in a quiet pub or just play for a relaxing time with an amazing atmosphere. I was anxious to hear more.

The next song I chose was "Cajun Angel". This was classified as more of a Southern Rock song. This song seemed to tell a story. It seems that the narrator was given an awakening of some sort. This song was more mellow than the first one I heard, still catchy nonetheless.

After continuing to listen to the songs present on the site I concluded that this music was targeted more towards the middle age group. It reminds me of older rock/blues music. Just by listening to the music my mind went wondering and I imagined a dark, rather smoky bar where people were sitting and enjoying a drink or two. I can see these guys continuing to make music well into the future.
