VARIOUS ARTISTS TruckersTracks.com presents Saddle Up And Ride

I personally did not know that there was anything like Truckers Tracks.
This is a collection of country artists making down-to-earth music about the life of truckers. This is country music with an attitude.
Some of my favourites were:

Joe Durham’s “It’s A Good Day” and “Freightliner” - I can certainly see myself singing along to this music while on a long drive.

Rodger Mason’s combination of acoustics and country puts some serious juice to his music on the “West Coast Run” track.
This collection of music is certainly a keeper. All the music and artists get to the listener in a basic way, extremely down-to-earth with no apologies. It seduces the listener to find out more. The lyrics are amazing and the music hones into the psyche in ways that are unexpected.
Don’t ask me why but I find this collection breathtaking!
